Disposable Bearings for Medical Applications

A plastic radial ball bearing is ideal for single use, disposable medical components. It’s lube free, non corroding nature makes it ideal for sterilization.

Critical Design Features: Bearings can be made from POM, PBT, PEEK, PVDF or PP plastic races and 316 stainless balls for hostile environment compatibility.  True Race Technology™ bearing design delivers superior performance. Bearing construction can be either full complement or cage type based on load and speed requirements.

Additional reasons for use:

• Lower friction: A plastic race bearing will naturally have a lower coefficient of friction than a metal to metal ball bearing.
